The Lancaster Barnstormers hosted the York Revolution in the last game before the All Star game for the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball.
It was Christmas in July at Clipper Magazine Stadium where the first 1,000 fans received an ornament. There were Santas, costumes and even some staff who took part in the festivities.
For the third straight game, the Revolution started the first inning with a run. Solid pitching by both starters throughout the game until the Barnstormers allowed a home run to give up the lead late in the game.
Down by two in the bottom on the 9th, the stage was set for yet another magical comeback. Getting one run quick helped make it feel like the magic would happen again but it was quickly taken away by giving up a double play to end the game.
York went on to win the game 5-4.
